In 2025, Brigade 125 closely followed the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Naval Region 2 Command; led and directed the unit to deploy synchronously, resolutely, and comprehensively in all aspects of work, successfully completing tasks, and many tasks were completed excellently.

The Brigade strictly maintained combat readiness; organized 94 ships to operate at sea, maneuvering over 125,000 nautical miles; transported over 17,000 tons of goods to island points and DKI platforms to ensure absolute safety; defense diplomacy; successfully organized the 17th Brigade Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030...

The Brigade also identified key tasks for 2026. Therein, focusing on thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing resolutions at all levels; building a unit that is strong in politics, ideology, and organization; maintaining the ideological front, resolutely defeating the " peaceful evolution" plot; striving for 100% of officers and soldiers to be ready to receive and complete tasks well, with high combat readiness, not being passive or surprised.

Actively coordinate and grasp the situation in the DKI, DKII, and Truong Sa areas; strictly maintain forces and means on standby for combat readiness and sovereignty protection; be ready to participate in natural disaster prevention, search and rescue. Protect the safety of agencies, units, and key targets during the 14th Party Congress, the 16th National Assembly election, and major events. Participate fully and qualitatively in drills; perform well in military transportation and defense diplomacy tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Do Hong Duyen, member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, praised the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties of the officers and soldiers of Brigade 125; at the same time, requested the unit to continue to strictly maintain combat readiness; advise and propose to the Party Committee and Command of Region 2 to handle situations at sea well; perform well the military transport task, and be on duty to protect sovereignty. Continue to innovate and improve the quality of training, political and ideological education, and do a good job of propagating the sea and islands, attracting human resources. Pay attention to taking good care of the lives of officers, soldiers and the military rear.
