The Brigade coordinated to conduct two exercises: Combat preparation and combat practice. The Brigade coordinated with the Party Committee and the government of Tan Phu district ( Ho Chi Minh City) to mobilize and receive 100% of reserve soldiers according to the establishment. Agencies and units did a good job of disseminating, building realistic documents and plans, and carefully preparing facilities, weapons and technical equipment according to regulations.

During the exercise, officers and soldiers practiced well the forms of transitioning to combat readiness, flexible mobility, good application of tactical principles to specific conditions, coordinated to quickly and accurately destroy targets according to regulations, safely, strictly obeying the law and discipline.

According to Colonel Nguyen Duc Phong, Brigade Commander of the 77th Air Defense Brigade, the exercise has improved the command capacity of agencies and units in coordinating the mobilization of reserve forces and comprehensively training the mettle, technical and tactical skills of officers and soldiers according to combat situations. Through the practical exercise, the vigilance and combat readiness of reserve soldiers has been raised; at the same time, the Brigade and local Party committees and authorities have also drawn out many contents and measures to improve the training quality and combat readiness of reserve forces in the coming time, building a strong reserve force to meet the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
