Police force speeds up to complete goals and tasks in 2025

On October 2, in Hanoi, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired a conference to review public security work in the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2025; summarize the peak of attacking and suppressing crimes to ensure security and order for important events of the country and evaluate the results of 3 months of implementing the organizational model according to new administrative boundaries.

Reporting at the Conference, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, stated: In the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2025, under the strong leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry's leaders, the People's Public Security force has synchronously deployed working measures, maintained political stability, ensured security and order, contributed to promoting the country's socio-economic development and foreign affairs, and has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State and people.

Notably, in the third quarter of 2025, regarding exemplary leading tasks, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security issued a Resolution focusing on leading the successful implementation of the task of developing science , technology, innovation and digital transformation in the People's Public Security; promulgating a Project on comprehensive digital transformation in the People's Public Security by 2030; approving the Strategy for data development and planning of the infrastructure of the Public Security Data Center; arranging the organization of the 2-level local Public Security apparatus according to new administrative boundaries, affirming the role of the important armed force, especially trusted by the Party, State and people; actively accompanying and supporting the political system in deploying and operating the two-level local government apparatus.

From August 1 to September 15, the Ministry of Public Security launched a high-point campaign to crack down on crime and ensure security and order for important national events. Speaking at the Conference, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed: The entire People's Public Security force has excellently completed the assigned tasks, the measurable indicators all reflect the results of the third quarter better than the second quarter; the results of the first 9 months of 2025 are in many ways better than the first 9 months of 2024. With the above achievements and results, there are great efforts, high sense of responsibility for the Party and for the people of the entire People's Public Security force, first of all, the exemplary and pioneering role of the Party Committee, leaders, commanders, heads of units and localities in the force.

From now until the end of the year, the whole country will focus on holding the Congresses of Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the Public Security force to accelerate the completion of the goals and tasks of work in 2025, competing to achieve achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Heads of Public Security units and localities must promote responsibility, focus on tasks and solutions, and complete all goals and targets set out in the Resolution and Directive for 2025 of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security; speed up the implementation of projects and tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Government to the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security in the fourth quarter of 2025;
