Luc Yen: More than 300 people help people clear the corridor to speed up the construction progress of the 500Kv power line

On August 16, Luc Yen commune organized the "Day with people, with businesses" campaign to cut trees and clear the corridor of the 500Kv Vinh Yen - Lao Cai power line, the section passing through the area, helping the contractor speed up the construction progress.

The program was attended by more than 300 people, including the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of the commune; cadres, workers of the construction unit and local people.

Accordingly, the participating forces proceeded to cut down trees and clear a 2-meter wide corridor to facilitate the construction unit in pulling the power line.

For the remaining green areas, people will proactively cut down and harvest as soon as possible.

On the day of the launch, the forces cleared nearly 10 km of the project corridor.

In recent times, Luc Yen commune has regularly organized labor days, supported people to relocate their houses, cut down trees to speed up site clearance, hand over to the construction unit, and ensure project progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister .

The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project, the section passing through Luc Yen commune, has 26 pole locations and 215 households affected; of which, the pole foundation has 54 households and the power grid corridor has 161 households affected. With the drastic participation of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and local organizations, up to now, 100% of households have agreed with the plan to support site clearance and receive compensation.
