Exciting "Full Moon Festival Night" 2025

On the evening of October 2, the Provincial Youth Activity Center (base 2) coordinated with the People's Committee of Phong Hai commune to organize the 5th "Full Moon Festival" of Lao Cai province in 2025, with many meaningful and exciting activities, bringing a warm and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival to children, at Regiment 254 (Lao Cai Provincial Military Command).

Many teenagers, children and people of Phong Hai commune attended the program.

Attending the festival were leaders of Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union, Phong Hai commune and nearly 1,000 parents, children and students from schools in Phong Hai commune.

At the beginning of the festival, the children participated in the joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival lantern procession. This was followed by the performance of “Our Team’s Trumpet Sound” - an entry that participated in the “Our Team’s Trumpet Sound” Festival in the Northern region in 2025 by the Ceremonial Team, Provincial Youth Activity Center. Next, delegates, many children and local people enjoyed many special performances by schools in Phong Hai commune.

Fruit tray display contest.

Next was the competition to display the fruit tray, make beautiful star lanterns, play folk games and enjoy the bustling lion dance.

The organizers presented gifts to children in Phong Hai commune.

At the festival, the Organizing Committee presented 200 gifts and 4 bicycles to disadvantaged children, to share, encourage and motivate them to strive for high results in the new school year.

The 2025 “Full Moon Festival” was a great success, providing a useful, healthy playground and many meaningful activities on the traditional holiday of the nation. This is also an opportunity for all levels, sectors, organizations and the whole society to show their responsibility and deep concern for the work of protecting, caring for and educating children, especially those in difficult circumstances.
