Graham Potter is more at risk of being sacked than ever.

According to The Athletic , the West Ham board has not yet decided to sack Graham Potter, as the search for his successor is still ongoing. In fact, the former Chelsea coach's future at the Hammers is almost decided.

Once West Ham find a candidate to take the hot seat at the London Stadium, manager Potter will be fired. Manager Potter was appointed after the forgettable period of Julen Lopetegui, but his performance was even worse than his predecessor.

The 1-2 loss to Crystal Palace in round 5 of the Premier League last weekend extended West Ham's losing streak under Potter. After the first 5 rounds of the Premier League, West Ham has won 1 and lost 4, ranking 19th (second from last) in the Premier League table.

West Ham's board consider Frank Lampard, Nuno Espirito Santo and former Slaven Bilic as potential candidates to replace Potter. Among these candidates, Lampard is having an impressive period leading Coventry City and it will not be easy for the former Chelsea star to leave the Championship team.

Meanwhile, both Espirito Santo and Bilic are unemployed and ready to take up the job immediately. The Premier League season has only been five rounds, but many managers' positions are already shaky. Nuno Espirito Santo is the first manager to be sacked, and Potter is likely to follow in the footsteps of the former Forest boss.
