The Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board came to inspect the preparations for the groundbreaking of the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project. The project has a scale of about 269 hectares, located in Dong Thai commune. Ninh ( Hung Yen province) . The project consists of 2 units with a total capacity of 1,500 MW, with a total investment of nearly 2 billion USD. Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed. ready for the groundbreaking ceremony scheduled to take place October 10, 2025.

After hearing the report on the progress and preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the project , the Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board requested relevant units to urgently complete the work, ensuring progress and quality. He noted the need to pay close attention to the decoration, celebration, and reception of delegates in a thoughtful, solemn but economical manner; at the same time, requested close coordination with functional forces to ensure security, order, and traffic safety, contributing to the safe and smooth organization of the groundbreaking ceremony.

Also in the afternoon of the same day, comrade Vu Kim Cu inspected the construction progress of the Hung Phu Industrial Park infrastructure development investment project and the Con Vanh Golf Course project.

Hung Phu Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project The project has a scale of over 209 hectares, with a total investment of 1,940 billion VND. Up to now, the site clearance work for the project has been basically completed; the construction unit is urgently implementing site leveling. In addition, the investor of the GEL&J Automobile Factory project has conducted test pile driving, preparing steps to soon start construction in the near future.

The Con Vanh Golf Course Project has a land use area of nearly 110 hectares, with a total investment of 2,156 billion VND. The project includes: a 27-hole international standard golf course, an executive building, a luxury resort - hotel, a practice field, a technical maintenance house, along with a system of technical infrastructure, trees, parking lots and other synchronous utilities. Currently, the investor is closely coordinating with local authorities to speed up site clearance, proactively supply raw materials and organize leveling in some areas, ensuring progress according to plan.

Preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project have been basically completed.

Recognizing the efforts of construction units and local authorities in implementing projects, the Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board requested localities to focus on accelerating site clearance progress, promptly handing over clean sites to investors; at the same time, requiring construction units to mobilize maximum human resources and means, proactively overcome difficulties, especially weather and material sources to ensure construction progress according to the province's plan; strive for projects to be completed and put into operation soon, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the province.
