The two signing ceremonies took place in Hanoi and Phu Quoc, with the participation of Mr. Anthony Capuano, President and CEO of Marriott International during his recent visit to Vietnam; Mr. Rajeev Menon, President of Asia Pacific (excluding China), Marriott International; Mr. Jakob Helgen, Vice President of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, along with Mr. Vu Quang Hoi, Chairman of BITEXCO Group, and Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman ofSun Group.

JW Marriott Trang An Resort & Spa
Expected to open in 2028, JW Marriott Trang An Resort & Spa is invested and developed by BITEXCO Group, which is also the investor of JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel. Nestled in the lush Trang An area, this luxury resort will offer 150 spacious rooms, along with 35 one- and two-bedroom villas, including villas with private pools. The resort will also include two restaurants, a French bakery and café, a lobby lounge and two bars, and relaxation and entertainment spaces that will include two pool areas, Spa by JW with all the brand's signature features, with six treatment rooms, a fitness center, a kids club with an outdoor playground and a recreation center. In addition, the hotel is expected to have an event space of 850 square meters, including a 500 square meter ballroom and two meeting rooms.
The Luxury Collection Resort, Hon Thom Island
Owned by Sun Group, The Luxury Collection Resort is expected to open in 2029. Nestled on the northwest coast of Hon Thom Island, The Luxury Collection will feature a total of 305 rooms and suites ranging in size from 50 to 250 square metres, including family-friendly rooms. Resort facilities will include two swimming pools, a kids club, a recreation centre, a fitness centre and the Luxury Collection Spa with seven treatment rooms, a whirlpool, a sauna and a steam room. Six restaurants and bars will offer a variety of dining options and 1,690 square metres of flexible event space, including a 900 square metre ballroom and three smaller meeting rooms. Sun Group is also the developer of JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa.
Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resort, Hon Thom Island
Scheduled to open in 2028 and designed by legendary architect Bill Bensley, the Ritz-Carlton Reserve will offer guests a “journey of escape” and complete relaxation in a private world of luxury and natural beauty. Located just off the southern tip of Hon Thom Island, with stunning ocean views towards the southern Phu Quoc archipelago, the resort will feature a “collection” of 40 pool villas. In addition, the resort space includes two resort pools, a spa, fitness center, three restaurants, three bars and an environmental education program for children in a two-story space and a beautiful garden named after Ambassador Jean Michel Cousteau. The 300 square meter event space is suitable for beachside weddings.
Hon Thom is a destination with rich natural landscapes, located in the middle of the turquoise sea, just off the southern coast of Phu Quoc, connected to the main island by a spectacular cable car. Trang An is located about 90km east of Hanoi and is famous for its limestone mountains, magical caves, a system of winding valleys and rivers, along with dozens of historical and cultural relics including temples and pagodas. It has been recognized by UNESCO as the first mixed world heritage site in Southeast Asia in both cultural and natural criteria.
This cooperation agreement brings the number of hotels managed and operated by Marriott in Vietnam in the future to more than 50 hotels. Currently, Marriott operates nearly 20 hotels in the country, with 8 brands and 10 destinations.
