The French striker smiled at Real Madrid's training ground on June 23, indicating that he has recovered from his illness and can play in the final match of Group H against Salzburg on June 27.

Mbappe was absent from the 1-1 draw with Al Hilal on June 18 after being hospitalized this week. The French striker did not travel with the team to Charlotte, North Carolina to face Pachuca in the early morning match on June 23.

Coach Xabi Alonso said Mbappe suffered from severe acute gastritis in Miami, which forced him to be hospitalized. After being discharged, he had to stay at the hotel to recover and undergo treatment.
