Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new generation CLA and now the company is preparing to "kill" all the old versions. As part of this effort, the company has introduced the last special sports version, the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 S Final Edition.

This special edition features a Manufaktur Mountain Grey Magno exterior with black and yellow graphics on the front doors and mirror caps. This two-tone theme is complemented by 19-inch matte black forged wheels and contrasting yellow accents.

Finishing the highlights are a silver chrome fuel filler cap and high-gloss black brake calipers with white “AMG” badging. The car is also equipped with the AMG Night Plus and AMG Aerodynamics Plus packages. These add high-gloss black and black chrome accents as well as a fixed rear spoiler, larger splitter and front spoiler.

The interior of this version features unique AMG Performance seats with black MB-Tex and microfiber upholstery. The seats also feature yellow contrast stitching as well as “45 S” embroidery on the headrests.

The special touches continue with the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/microfiber and AMG floor mats with yellow contrast stitching. They are combined with illuminated door sill plates and a “45 S Final Edition” badge on the center console.

Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It's connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, allowing it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in four seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Mercedes-Benz didn't mention pricing, but a "limited" number of cars will be sold in the US and Europe, in either a four-door coupe or a Shooting Brake body style. The new European variant gets a wagon option as well as a higher top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
