Faced with the dangerous and unpredictable level of storm No. 3, on the afternoon and evening of July 21, the leaders of Muong Khuong commune mobilized 21 households in Chung Chai B village with 91 people in the high-risk disaster area to evacuate to a safe place.




Muong Khuong commune leaders directly went to direct, inspect, and mobilize 21 households at high risk of natural disasters to evacuate to safer places.


The leaders of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of the commune, and members of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of the commune directly went to urge, inspect, and mobilize households in areas at high risk of natural disasters to voluntarily and urgently evacuate.
Of the 21 households in the high-risk disaster area of Chung Chai B village that had to be evacuated, 11 households with 41 people went to stay with relatives in a safe place, and 10 households with 50 people were arranged temporary accommodation by the Commune People's Committee at Sa Ho Primary School.






On the evening of July 21, all 21 households evacuated to a safe place to avoid natural disasters.
In order to prevent local heavy rains and landslides causing great damage; be alert to tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds during thunderstorms; prevent heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding of roads, low-lying areas, downstream areas of small and medium-sized streams, spillways on all roads... The commune has proactively and regularly updated the weather situation, thunderstorms, heavy rains, flash floods and landslides that may occur to promptly and regularly notify and guide people to proactively avoid and evacuate to safe places to minimize damage to people and property.
At the same time, be ready with proactive response plans when situations arise, especially arranging shock troops, materials and means on-site to promptly deploy rescue. Organize a 24/7 on-duty team, grasp information about natural disasters occurring in the commune, where the disaster occurred, the extent of damage, the situation of overcoming the consequences, synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue according to regulations.
Ban Lau Commune Police mobilized 12 households to move to a safe place.
Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3, especially the possibility of heavy rain due to storm circulation causing a high risk of landslides, the police force of Ban Lau commune has organized a review of vulnerable points with high risk of landslides, propagandized, mobilized and helped households in the commune to evacuate to safe shelters.
On the night of July 21, the Commune Police force mobilized and signed a commitment to evacuate 12 households, including 52 people in Na Ha village, Ban Lau commune - an area at high risk of landslides - to a safe place to prepare for the worst-case scenario due to the impact of storm No. 3.
Currently, the above households have been evacuated to safety.



Along with that, the Commune Police force regularly patrols the roads in the area, sets up checkpoints, and places warning signs for people not to move into areas at risk of landslides. At the same time, they strengthen propaganda and warn local people about the risk of landslides and flash floods due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha) using village loudspeaker systems, mobile loudspeakers and security zalo groups, updating developments and situations hourly, helping local people to be more vigilant against the risks and impacts of the storm.
