According to the administrative unit arrangement, Thanh Oai commune includes the entire natural area and population size of Kim Bai town, the communes: Do Dong, Kim An, Phuong Trung, Thanh Mai and part of Kim Thu commune.
Of which, a part of the natural area and population of Da Ngu Thuong hamlet, Kim Thu commune (old) belongs to Hoa Phu commune. Thanh Oai commune must hand over 41 households with 154 people of Da Ngu Thuong hamlet, Doan Ket village, Kim Thu commune, Thanh Oai district (old) to the People's Committee of Hoa Phu commune.
At the handover ceremony, Vice Chairman of Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai said: To reassure people and make them confident in the conversion, all records and documents related to household registration, land, and social security are carefully reviewed and clearly handed over, ensuring that citizens' legitimate rights and obligations are not interrupted or negatively affected in the context of changing administrative boundaries.
Leaders of the two communes reached a high level of agreement on records, boundary markers, current infrastructure status and issues related to population, land management, natural resources - environment and social security.
The handover of area and population is not only the implementation of an administrative decision, but also a demonstration of the smooth and effective coordination between government levels in concretizing resolutions of higher levels. This creates a solid foundation for state management, serving the people in the best way, and at the same time promoting sustainable socio -economic development in the area after the administrative units are rearranged.
