On the evening of June 5, in Da Nang, the prestigious global culinary guide Michelin Guide announced the Michelin Guide 2025 List, honoring a total of 181 dining establishments.
Of these, 9 restaurants have achieved one Michelin Star, two Michelin Green Stars, 63 dining establishments have achieved Bib Gourmand award and 109 dining establishments have achieved Michelin Selected standard.
CieL Restaurant ( Ho Chi Minh City) received a Michelin Star on its first appearance on the shortlist and Coco Dining (Ho Chi Minh City) was upgraded to a Michelin Star.
According to the evaluation of the Jury, CieL Restaurant, the newly honored name this year, has an innovative culinary style with sophisticated processing techniques and a cozy culinary space.
Meanwhile, Coco Dining restaurant is a dining space with its own style, where chef Vo Thanh Vuong introduces contemporary cuisine, combining Vietnamese recipes with modern techniques and fermentation methods.

Other one-Michelin-star restaurants include: Gia, Hibana by Koki, Tam Vi ( Hanoi ); Long Trieu, Anan Saigon, Akuna (Ho Chi Minh City), and La Maison 1888 (Da Nang).
Among the new establishments added to the Michelin Guide list, there are 10 establishments from Hanoi (5 Bib Gourmand, 5 Michelin Selected and 1 Michelin Green Star), 7 establishments from Ho Chi Minh City (1 restaurant with 1 Michelin Star and 6 Michelin Selected), 7 establishments from Da Nang (4 Bib Gourmand and 3 Michelin Selected).
Additionally, a restaurant in Hanoi has also been honored with the new Michelin Green Star award, recognizing notable efforts in sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

In the special award category, the Michelin Guide recognizes the diversity of jobs and know-how applied in the restaurant industry.
The Young Chef Award was given to chef Le Viet Hong (born 1992) from the newest restaurant to receive a Michelin Star CieL in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Michelin Guide Sommelier Award was given to Paul Vo from Nephele – a restaurant that appeared on the Michelin Selected list for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City.
The MICHELIN Guide Contribution Award aims to honor and motivate talented and skilled professionals who make a significant contribution to the overall customer experience. This year’s Contribution Award was presented to Mr. Nha Huynh from Man Moi (Thu Duc City), a Bib Gourmand-winning restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City.



Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guides, expressed his joy at witnessing the increasing number of Michelin-starred dining establishments and their talented chefs. Many of them have returned to their roots, combining modern cooking techniques to tell the stories of their homeland and rediscover the flavors of their childhood.

They are constantly inspired by the dedication, creativity and desire for perfection of talented chefs across the country.
