People of Xuan Quang and Bao Yen communes were excited to receive gifts on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd.

Implementing Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP of the Government and Official Dispatch No. 13578/BTC-NSNN of the Ministry of Finance, the People's Committees of Xuan Quang and Bao Yen communes have developed a plan to organize gift giving to all local people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The form of gift giving on September 2 is a one-time payment per permanent household, the amount is calculated according to the number of people in the household according to national population data. Each person receives 100,000 VND in cash; the head of the household or a family member receives the gift on his/her behalf and is responsible for transferring the gift to other members.

In Xuan Quang commune

According to the plan, the payment will be made centrally from August 31 to September 1, 2025; in special cases, it can be extended but not beyond September 10, 2025.

Xuan Quang Commune launched a gift giving campaign for the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Working groups receive funding from the Commune People's Committee.

To effectively implement, Xuan Quang commune has established 45 working groups in 45 villages. The groups directly receive funds and pay them directly to households at the village cultural house, with signatures, ensuring publicity, transparency and correct recipients. The commune police are responsible for extracting the list of citizens by household and village from the National Population Database, providing it to the working groups as a basis for implementation.

People are excited to receive gifts from the Party and State.

Xuan Quang Commune People's Committee also assigned specialized departments to receive and hand over gift funds to working groups; make lists, monitor and settle accounts according to regulations; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations coordinate to propagate and support so that the gift giving takes place solemnly and promptly.

In Bao Yen commune

From the afternoon of August 31, Bao Yen commune began to pay gifts to the people, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. With a value of 100,000 VND/person, local people were excited to receive gifts in the bustling atmosphere of Independence Day.

According to the decision to supplement the State budget expenditure estimate for 2025, the budget for giving gifts to people celebrating Independence Day, Bao Yen commune was granted 2,126,900 thousand VND ( 2 billion 1 hundred twenty-six thousand, nine hundred VND ) including 5,295 households with 21,269 people.

People were excited to receive gifts.

To ensure that gifts are paid to the right recipients and to each household, Bao Yen commune has established 25 working groups to pay for the gifts.

The working groups are responsible for receiving funds and organizing payments to households in the area, ensuring the right recipients, publicity, transparency, and compliance with regulations. The commune police are responsible for extracting the list of citizens in the National Population Database, detailing each household and village, and providing it to the working groups as a basis for gift giving.

The payment period is from August 31 to September 1, 2025; in exceptional cases, the recipient may receive the gift after this period, but no later than September 15, 2025.

This gift-giving activity demonstrates the attention of the Party and State, and at the same time contributes to strengthening the spirit of solidarity and arousing pride in the community on the occasion of the nation's important anniversary.
