Coming to Hung Khanh Regional General Clinic, we witnessed the urgent and enthusiastic working spirit of the medical staff here. What impressed us the most was the satisfaction on the faces of each patient. Outside the examination room, nurses took turns checking and asking patients very carefully.

Mr. Ho A Phong in Hong Lau village, Hung Khanh commune, who is being treated at the clinic, shared: “I was careless while working, which led to an injury to my foot. I subjectively thought it was a small wound, so I bandaged it myself and took medicine at home. However, the wound became more and more serious, with yellow fluid oozing out and a high fever. My family brought me here and I was diagnosed with a wound infection. After 3 days of treatment, I was able to move around easily. Here, the staff, nurses, and doctors took very good care of me, I felt satisfied and reassured during the treatment.”

Like Mr. Ho A Phong, Ms. Giang Thi Nha in Khe Ron village suffered from dull pain in the epigastric region for many days. When she went to the clinic, the doctors diagnosed her with gastric ulcer and prescribed treatment. After 6 days of treatment, Ms. Nha's health stabilized.

Ms. Nha shared: “When I first entered the clinic for treatment, I was very tired, had a headache, was dizzy, had pain in the epigastric region... and had unexplained discomfort. After being examined and treated for a while, I felt much better and now I can go about my normal activities.”

Specialist Doctor Le Minh Giang - Head of Hung Khanh Regional General Clinic said: "After the merger, the Clinic is responsible for examining and treating the people of two communes: Hung Khanh and Luong Thinh.

The clinic still has many difficulties in terms of facilities, some items have degraded, and the staff is still lacking compared to regulations. However, some medical equipment of the clinic has been invested quite modernly, meeting the requirements of medical examination and treatment for the people, we have sent many staff for training, fostering and training to improve their qualifications.

Currently, the Clinic is assigned 20 inpatient beds but actually has 30 beds, operating at 110% capacity. The quality of medical examination and treatment and the effectiveness of treatment have been improved, contributing to reducing the burden on upper-level medical facilities, and are increasingly trusted by patients.

With efforts and bringing trust to the people, Hung Khanh Regional General Clinic is attracting more and more patients, receiving an average of 50 patients/day.

By the end of September 2025, 13,515 people had been examined, 10,162 patients had been examined at the facility, and 960 people had been treated as inpatients...

Along with improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, the spirit and attitude of medical staff in serving patients are also improved. The clinic premises are always clean, contributing to creating trust and satisfaction of the people.

In parallel, the Clinic regularly coordinates with Tran Yen Regional Medical Center and commune health stations to organize integrated communication and consultation through medical examination and treatment, and national target programs on health and population.
