Cam Duong Ward organizes Firefighting and Rescue Competition

On the morning of October 18, the Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue of Cam Duong Ward organized a Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition for the "Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Inter-family Team" (PCCC) in 2025, attracting 7 teams with 69 members to participate.

The contest aims to supplement knowledge and skills in handling fire and explosion situations, rescuing people and property, and at the same time effectively promote the "four on-the-spot" motto in fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue work in residential areas.

The contest consists of 2 parts: theory of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue knowledge; practice of fire fighting and rescue for houses combined with production and business.

Team representatives draw lots and answer questions in the theory test.

In particular, in the practical part, the teams handle many situations, such as: pressing the alarm bell, using a fire extinguisher to put out a fire, breaking locks to rescue victims and moving property.

Theoretical competition results: Fire safety inter-family group No. 5 Xuan Tang excellently won first prize; Fire safety inter-family group No. 3 Bac Lenh won second prize; Fire safety inter-family group No. 2 Pom Han won third prize.

Practical competition: Fire safety inter-family group No. 4 Binh Minh won first prize; Fire safety inter-family group No. 5 Xuan Tang won second prize; Fire safety inter-family group No. 6 Cam Duong won third prize.

The contest helps evaluate the effectiveness of the fire prevention and fighting inter-family teams, raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities and people in fire prevention and fighting, contributing to ensuring the safety of life and property and maintaining security and order in the area.
