Tuoi Tre Newspaper awards "Support to School" scholarships to new students with difficult circumstances

On the afternoon of October 18, in Nha Trang ward, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union organized the "Support to School" scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme "One Aspiration - Ten Thousand Hearts" for new students with difficult circumstances and strong will of Khanh Hoa province. Attending were comrade Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Gia Bao - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 55 scholarships to new students (each worth 15 million VND), with a total value of more than 800 million VND (not including travel, accommodation, and gift support), sponsored by Khanh Hoa Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund (including accompanying units: Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company, Khanh Hoa Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., Khanh Viet Corporation, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned One Member Co., Ltd.) and readers of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

In addition, two new students with especially difficult circumstances received scholarships totaling 20 million VND donated by comrade Nguyen Khac Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and comrade Trinh Minh Hoang.

New students receive free foreign language scholarships.

In addition, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students; Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 2 laptops for new students with special difficulties and lack of learning equipment; and the Vietnam-USA Society English Language System sponsored 10 free foreign language scholarships.

This is the 6th awarding point in the 2025 “Support to School” scholarship program (under the “For Tomorrow’s Development” program) of Tuoi Tre Newspaper for more than 1,000 new students with difficult circumstances across the country, with a total budget of about 20 billion VND. Over 22 years, the program has awarded 26,468 scholarships to new students with a total amount of more than 246 billion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Trinh Minh Hoang highly appreciated the humane nature of the program, and hoped that Tuoi Tre Newspaper and sponsors would continue to accompany Khanh Hoa province in activities to support students. He asked the new students to continue to make efforts and strive in their studies to become excellent citizens, contributing to the development of their homeland and country.
