Lao Cai Ward organizes Firefighting and Rescue Competition

On the morning of October 15, the Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue of Lao Cai Ward organized a Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition for the "Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Safety Inter-family Group" in 2025.

Participating in the competition were 6 teams of members of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Interfamily Group (PCCC) representing 157 models, fire prevention and fighting interfamily groups and 23 public fire fighting points in the ward.

The teams will go through 2 parts: In the theoretical part, the teams will answer questions about fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue knowledge. In the practical part, the teams will practice fire fighting, fire fighting, and rescue for the type of house combined with production and business.

In particular, in the practical competition, the teams assigned tasks to members participating in the fire fighting and rescue formation, handling situations: Pressing the alarm bell; using a fire extinguisher to put out the fire; breaking the lock to rescue victims and moving property.

As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the theoretical competition, including: First prize went to the Le Khoi Fire Safety Inter-family Team; Second prize went to the Ngo Quyen 6 Fire Safety Inter-family Team; Third prize went to the Hong Son Fire Safety Inter-family Team.

In the practical competition, Ngo Quyen 6 Fire Safety Inter-family Team excellently won first prize; second prize was awarded to Duyen Hong Fire Safety Inter-family Team; third prize went to Ban Quan Fire Safety Inter-family Team.

As a result, the Ngo Quyen 6 Fire Safety Inter-family Team won the first prize; the second prize went to the Duyen Hong and Ban Quan Fire Safety Inter-family Teams; the third prize went to the Le Khoi, Hong Son and Hoang Lien 3 Fire Safety Inter-family Teams.

The 2025 Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Team" in Lao Cai Ward is a practical activity to raise awareness, perception and responsibility of the masses in fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, as well as widely propagate the role and practical significance of the model "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Team".

The contest contributes to supplementing and raising awareness, knowledge of fire prevention and fighting, rescue and skills in handling fire and explosion situations, rescuing people and property for members of households belonging to the "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Group", bringing the activities of the "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Group" into practice, effectively promoting the motto "four on-site" in handling fire and explosion situations occurring in residential areas.
