33 years in 80 years, a new story about 'Vietnam's Will'

There is a business that is quietly persistent, courageous and constantly changing with a 33-year journey accompanying the country, never forgetting a moment, so that today it can affirm that: Vietnam can completely develop with technology created and mastered by Vietnamese people.

Development strategy with 9 core technology industries

From a discreet enterprise established in 1992 with import-export, manufacturing, trade and real estate sectors, CT Group has today become a pioneering technology group in Vietnam. In 2022, CT Group was awarded the First Class Labor Medal on the occasion of the Group's 30th anniversary (June 29, 1992 - June 29, 2022).

In particular, on the day of receiving the First Class Labor Medal, the Group officially announced its development strategy for the next 30 years with 9 core technology industries, which have been quietly researched and prepared since previous years: Semiconductor technology; Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and low-altitude space equipment (LAE); Artificial intelligence and digital transformation; ESG with carbon credits, low-emission robot houses, CCTPA, CT Modulex; Green digital money; Electric cars and driverless trains; New energy; Gene and cell technology; Quantum technology. And 3 traditional sustainable industries: Smart cities; Development of transport infrastructure - engineering - economy - society and green logistics; Clean food, health care.

Today, looking back at the implementation journey, we can see the value of the strategy team. Not to mention that from strategy to implementation is not simple. This is a thorny path that few Vietnamese businesses have experienced. There are many things that have only been told now.

In 1997-1998, when the financial crisis spread throughout Asia, it was also the period when CT Group with its young team was promoting rice exports to Eastern Europe, coconut fiber nets to Korea, Japan and importing construction machinery, assembling CT 1000, CT 2000 desk phones...

Exporting is extremely difficult, but collecting money during a financial crisis is even more difficult. CT Group's leadership team racked their brains and an idea flashed, doing barter trade (bartering goods for goods), the only remaining step was OEM to suit Vietnam... Finally, the problem was solved, the entire company from accounting to security focused on selling.

Just like that, CT Group has been resilient and creative through all three crises of 2007-2008 and 2020-2021 in a strange way. While still maintaining the core value of being an Enterprise for the community. The achievements from the storm have been recognized fairly and regularly by the State. In 2012, CT Group was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal, in 2017 the Second Class Labor Medal and in 2022 the First Class Labor Medal.

With careful preparation before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, the first 3-year journey (2022 - 2025) in the second 30-year plan (2022 - 2052), CT Group focuses on training human resources and R&D on technology, to enter 2025 with a strong explosion in products and commercialization, introducing advanced products of all 9 core technology industries, the 2025 period marks a milestone of outstanding development in the fields of Science , Technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Along with Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and the four core Resolutions in the new period of the Country, CT Group is ready to be a pioneer in creating breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

For CT Group, the Resolution is like adding an 'ultimate weapon', which is the Vietnamese will and Vietnamese intelligence, a burning fire, opening a new era: from many years of silent investment, the Group entered a breakthrough phase with core technology products.

In just 6 months of implementing Resolution 57, CT Group has completed the workload of 2 years, including nearly 100 Conferences and Workshops on Vietnamese Youth and Resolution 57, a series of science and technology activities, innovation, digital transformation on the Great Festival of April 30, 2025 - Celebrating 50 years of national reunification.

On April 29, 2025, CT Group inaugurated Vietnam's first 4.0 Innovation Center - CT Innovation Hub 4.0. CT Group donated a 4.0 Innovation Center to Hanoi at 46 Tran Hung Dao, which will be inaugurated on the occasion of the Hanoi Party Congress. Currently, this technology model is attracting the attention of many other cities, including foreign countries.

On April 30, 2025, CT Semiconductor (a member of CT Group) started construction of phase 2 of the first semiconductor chip factory with Vietnamese technology.

Not only digital transformation, CT Group also leads green transformation with CCTPA - carbon credit trading floor in Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center, with hundreds of projects practicing dual goals.

Launching ceremony of the first ADC chip design 100% designed by Vietnam

On June 29, 2025, Diginal (CT Group member) launched the first 12-bit chip design with a sample rate of 200 MSPS in Vietnam developed by 100% Vietnamese engineers.

On August 12, 2025, the Group also won an export order of 5,000 heavy unmanned transport aircraft to South Korea during the State visit to South Korea by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam. Currently, the two sides are working closely for this order and 5 factories of CT Group are actively preparing for the order, especially the casting factory is preparing many difficult details.

CT Group also has an order to export 100 million semiconductor chips to Korea during the State visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam.

In July 2025, start testing the 15-layer National Digital Twin for Da Nang City.

The group also donated 100 billion to Ho Chi Minh City National University, donated an agricultural pilot training school to Can Tho University and many other universities.

On the occasion of National Day September 2, CT Group will announce a special gift for 600,000 Vietnamese people who are permanently blind and 300,000 people who are taking care of them. Not only will it bring happiness to the people, but it will also create nearly 1% of the new workforce, which can contribute nearly 1% of GDP to the country.

After 33 years of journey from a private enterprise starting up in a difficult context for the country, the Group now has 68 member companies, present in 12 countries, operating in 12 industries with a focus on core technology 4.0.
