The newly launched AI tool, called Copilot, will work across the company's apps including Bing, the Edge browser, and the Microsoft 365 software suite.
Microsoft Announces Artificial Intelligence That Unifies Windows 11 and New Surface Devices
The new updated version of this application will be launched on September 26, integrated into the Microsoft 365 Copilot suite launched on November 1, according to Reuters.
Microsoft released a preview of 365 Copilot earlier this year, and in July, the company said that customers would have to pay $30 per user per month to access the features.
Microsoft has also been pushing generative AI, which is computer programs that can generate text, images, sounds, and other data. The company has integrated this technology into most of its products and services.
Microsoft's push into AI could make big tech companies like Alphabet (Google's parent company) and Apple take notice as customers use new services created by AI.
Microsoft also announced laptops, including the Surface Laptop Go 3, Surface Laptop Studio 2, and Surface Go 4 For Business, along with a new Surface Hub 3 to "sync" with the new AI engine.
