Just like the rich nature with mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, the specialties of the East also fully express that flavor. The East has gathered many people from different regions of the country for hundreds of years, which is also the same amount of time that the people here have developed their own unique cuisine.

Yes, that unique identity can be found in any locality in the East. I went to Dong Nai, where there are many delicious dishes that attract tourists and change constantly with the seasons. After wandering around for a while, I got to eat the typical fish salad dish in Bien Hoa, where the sunlight covers the meal, where there is a unique style of marinating spices to highlight the delicious taste of the fish meat. Although the fish is said to be fishy, the way Dong Nai people prepare it is very special, passed down and developed over several generations, enough to create a branded specialty dish.
Dong Nai has many "sipping" dishes, but there is also a dish that is specialized for eating, which is chicken rice with salted fish. From simple stalls to luxurious restaurants, this dish also has the task of relieving hunger and filling the stomachs after a tiring day of work. There is nothing better than a plate of hot rice cooked in a clay pot, with shredded chicken and simple fish sauce. That flavor is so delicious and unforgettable, even if you are just a tourist visiting for a few days. Enjoying a meal here is like feeling the warmth and sincerity of the person who made the dish, like feeling home-cooked rice in the specialties.

Eastern cuisine is special in that although each province has a different flavor, it makes visitors feel the hospitality, which is shown through the elaborate preparation of ingredients, the way of decoration and thoughtful service, showing that Eastern people are always devoted to each dish they make. Coming to Ba Ria - Vung Tau, enjoying a meal by the beach, I see this even more clearly. It is a dish of dried squid caught from the boat, still with a rich salty taste of the sea. Because this is a sea area with a high salt concentration, seafood must also be processed so that diners can feel the delicious taste without being bored. The skillful hands of Vung Tau people are clearly shown in the dishes as well as the sensitivity to choosing spices and green vegetables to eat with.
Then there is the unique cuisine of Binh Duong. This place not only has attractive tourist attractions but also has its own unique dishes, leaving a lasting impression on visitors. When coming here, you must try the sweet and sour mangosteen dish. Mangosteen chicken salad or banh beo bi are also dishes that show the characteristics of the people here, they always try to combine ingredients into colorful and flavorful dishes, stimulating the taste buds of visitors from far away. This dynamic land with many tourist attractions also has a rich culinary culture, improved over time through the experience of many hands and hearts.
There are many other places in the East that I have had the opportunity to visit such as Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh or Ho Chi Minh City to feel the beauty of cuisine as well as the beauty of people. The East, an important destination of the trans-Vietnam tourism route, where each locality has its own identity, joining hands to contribute to the flow and development of national tourism.
From the typical tourism products of each region, I also see the beauty of the Eastern people - they have a unique beauty that belongs to the community. It is the diversity, richness, typical of the liberal and generous nature of the people here. It is the way of preparing attractive cuisine, containing the meticulousness of the Eastern mother and sister, the carefulness, meticulousness and gentleness in each dish, creating affection for tourists.
For a long time, the people of the Southeast have been known to freely convey their sincerity into their dishes, even if it is just a normal meal like fish, gourd or some vegetables. They put all their essence into the meal before their eyes, whether eating at home or entertaining guests. That is also a precious lifestyle of the people of the Southeast in today's era of integration, when tourism is developing and is a key economic sector.
