Dismissal and suspension of 1 Deputy Head of Notary Office

On May 29, the Director of the Department of Justice of Kon Tum province issued a decision to dismiss Ms. Huynh Thi Mai Xuan from her position as Deputy Head of Notary Office No. 2 (Le Loi Ward, Kon Tum City). At the same time, the Head of Notary Office No. 2 issued a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Xuan from work.

Ms. Huynh Thi Mai Xuan was determined to have violated the code of conduct and professional ethics when receiving 32 million VND from the person requesting the notarization. The above behavior showed signs of violating the law, so the authorities transferred the case to the Investigation Police Agency (IPA) - Kon Tum Provincial Police for handling and investigation.

Regarding the incident, many people in Kon Tum province filed a complaint against the fake pink book notarization ring, including Ms. Huynh Thi Mai Xuan who notarized a fake pink book and received a "thank you fee".

Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the Kon Tum Provincial Police Department according to the provisions of law.
