Rally to celebrate the 49th Anniversary of Lao PDR National Day

On the afternoon of November 30, Tay Bac University organized a program to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao PDR (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2024). Attending the event were leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and Lao students studying at the school.

At the meeting , delegates and overseas students reviewed the history of the heroic and resilient struggle 49 years ago of the Lao ethnic people, establishing the Lao PDR with the great role of President Kaysone Phomvihane as well as the close and special relationship between the two peoples and two countries: Vietnam - Laos, which President Kaysone Phomvihane and the great President Ho Chi Minh had worked hard to cultivate.

Currently, Tay Bac University has 359 Laotian students studying at the school. The school always creates the best conditions for Laotian students to study with peace of mind, constantly strive to practice and accumulate knowledge to become excellent citizens, high-quality human resources of the Lao PDR after graduating and returning to work in the country. Along with that, the school also regularly organizes many cultural and sports activities, cultural exchange activities to celebrate the National Day of the Lao PDR.

On this occasion, Tay Bac University awarded certificates of merit to 7 Lao students with many achievements in Lao student affairs and extracurricular activities in the 2023-2024 school year; the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Liaison Committee of Vietnamese Volunteers and Military Experts in Laos, Son La province presented gifts to Lao students studying at the school./.
