Based on the exterior details, it can be confirmed that this is the upgraded version that has been introduced in some markets in the region. This appearance shows that the day when Mitsubishi Xpander 2025 is officially launched to Vietnamese customers is not far away. In this upgrade, Mitsubishi Xpander will receive significant changes in design, amenities and especially upgraded safety systems - equipped with six airbags for the first time.
In terms of exterior, the Mitsubishi Xpander 2025 has a more modern look with a redesigned grille, combining silver-plated horizontal bars and vertical bars below. The front and rear bumpers are both new, creating a more impressive feel. The headlights have been changed to a dark Smoke Chrome color while the LED fog lights have also been refined. The 17-inch alloy wheels, with a new 10-spoke design, add to the sporty look of the car. The Xpander Cross version has a more impressive appearance with an X-shaped grille, larger front and rear bumpers, and polished 4-spoke alloy wheels.
In Indonesia, the price of the Mitsubishi Xpander 2025 starts from IDR 270.1 million (VND 438.5 million at the current exchange rate), the highest version costs IDR 338 million (VND 548.3 million), and the Xpander Cross 2025 starts from IDR 338 million (VND 549 million at the current exchange rate). This price is difficult to maintain when coming to Vietnam, because the lowest MT version also costs 560 million. The interior of the Xpander is refreshed with a dominant black tone. The three-spoke steering wheel has a new design, an 8-inch digital clock cluster is placed behind the steering wheel, accompanied by a 10-inch central touch entertainment screen. The touch control panel is rearranged to the left, convenient for the driver to use. The second row of seats adds a headrest to the middle position and a center armrest with integrated cup holder. The Xpander Cross in particular has a highlight with a luxurious black-burgundy red interior and artificial wood grain trim.
One of the most notable features of this upgraded version is the addition of the Active Yaw Control braking force control system – which is taken from the Xforce model. At the same time, the number of airbags has also been increased from two to six. In Indonesia, the 2025 Xpander continues to use a 1.5L 4A91 gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 105 PS and torque of 141 Nm, with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
