Launching Danang Finance and Technology Week 2025

On the morning of August 28, the Danang Finance and Technology Week 2025 officially kicked off with the annual Vietnam Finance Forum, with the theme "Connecting Vietnam's international financial center with the global financial network".

The event took place from August 28 to 30, organized by the Da Nang People's Committee in coordination with the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, to promote international cooperation, attract investment, develop cutting-edge technology and concretize the goal of building an international financial center in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, emphasized: the event has special significance when organized before the Da Nang City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, contributing to positioning Da Nang as an important growth pole of the whole country.

According to Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, building a financial center requires three factors: “Trust, Standards and Speed”. “Trust” comes from independent jurisdiction, fast enforcement, and data transparency; “Standards” come from applying, accepting international rules and applying them intelligently; “Speed” comes from political determination and enforcement discipline. By adhering to these principles, Da Nang will successfully build a Financial Center.

At the forum, Da Nang also signed many memorandums of understanding with domestic and foreign partners; organized a thematic session with two topics: "Financial technology" and "Green finance, sustainable development"...

Within the framework of the Week, there are also outstanding activities such as: financial exhibition, blockchain, semiconductor technology and tourism, gathering more than 45 businesses; signing ceremony of cooperation in training - research - investment; job fair with more than 100 recruitment positions connecting directly with students and young engineers.
