At the exam site of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted (Vinh city, Nghe An ), many candidates left the exam room with mixed emotions after completing the combined exam.
While some students expressed satisfaction with their performance, many others shared about the difficulties they encountered with this year's exam.

Le Van The Anh, a candidate taking the Natural Science exam (chemistry and biology), commented: “I did okay in chemistry, the questions were not too difficult. However, this year's biology exam was quite long, some questions required the application of general knowledge, so it was a bit difficult for me. I gave myself 6-6.5 points.”
Regarding the Social Science group, Nguyen Thuy Duong, a candidate at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, took the history and geography exams, sharing: “The exam was within the range, not too surprising. I think I did quite well, maybe getting about 8.5 points. I plan to apply to Hanoi Pedagogical University, because since I was little I dreamed of becoming a teacher.”
Meanwhile, Pham Linh, a candidate who registered for the English and geography combination, appeared more worried.

Linh shared: “The test was more difficult than the sample test and practice test that I have done before. There were many questions that required reasoning and a solid grasp of knowledge. Normally, I can get about 8 points, but today I am not so sure. I am taking the exam to get into Foreign Trade University, so the pressure to get a score is very high.”
Nguyen Phuong La Ny, a student at Ha Huy Tap High School, took the English and Law Economics exam and shared: “I did quite well. I scored about 9 points for the Law Economics subject. I regretted the English exam because the time was a bit tight, and I didn’t have enough time to check my work.”
According to the reporter, many candidates commented that this year's combined exam had a clear differentiation. Questions at the recognition and comprehension levels accounted for a large proportion, creating conditions for average students to achieve good scores.
However, the advanced questions to classify university entrance candidates also appear with higher density, requiring thinking and the ability to synthesize interdisciplinary knowledge.
The 2025 high school graduation exam in Nghe An took place in favorable weather conditions, with tight organization to ensure seriousness, safety and compliance with regulations.
