A company returns more than 30,000m2 of land to Son La province

On September 10, the People's Committee of Son La province issued Decision 1864 on land recovery from Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company due to no longer needing to use the land and a voluntary request to return the land. At the same time, it was assigned to the People's Committee of Chieng Ngan commune (Son La city) for management.

Recovered area of more than 32,000m2 in Khoang village, Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city.

The type of land recovered is landfill land, waste treatment land, assigned by Son La Provincial People's Committee to Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company since 1999.

Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company is not compensated for land and assets attached to land according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 101 of the 2024 Land Law and the request of the unit.

Son La Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to hand over the above land to the People's Committee of Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city for management.

Direct the Land Registration Office and the Son La City Land Registration Office Branch to update and correct land databases and cadastral records according to regulations.
