On the afternoon of October 19, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair, and Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, inspected the fair's preparations.
Lightning-fast preparation efforts
Reporting to Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on the preliminary progress of preparations for the 2025 Autumn Fair, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said that construction units are working with the spirit of "working day and night", with the highest goal of ensuring the right schedule.
According to the Minister, from the time of the dispatch directing the organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair to the opening ceremony, it took only 1 month. However, over the past time, the entire system of agencies from central to local levels, along with businesses and organizing units, have been making great efforts, working day and night to complete the preparation work and be ready for the fair.

According to the report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, up to now, the Ministry of Finance has completed the synthesis of proposals for central budget support for participating ministries, branches and localities, and submitted them to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
Vingroup Corporation has completed the overall design and decoration of the fair, the design of the zones, logo and general identification system of the fair and has been approved by the Fair Steering Committee to unify the relevant ministries, branches and localities in organizing and participating in the fair.
Businesses and organizations registered to participate in the fair covered the entire exhibition area of the Exhibition Center building.
Agencies, organizations, and businesses have started construction since October 17th on schedule and are committed to completing the work before October 22nd to hand over to businesses displaying goods for the final rehearsal on October 24th.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has assigned its units to organize 10 specialized seminars, online export forums with Alibaba, Amazon, and B2B trade conferences for international buyers brought back to the country by Vietnamese Trade Offices abroad...
Not meeting progress requirements, need to replace immediately
Through a field survey and listening to opinions from relevant agencies, units and localities, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the efforts of ministries, branches, localities and relevant organizations in implementing work contents on schedule, ensuring that the general rehearsal can take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 24 and the opening ceremony at 8:00 p.m. on October 25.
Due to the time to complete the preparation work being less than 1 week, while there are 30 booths at risk of being behind schedule, the Deputy Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to review and urge every day, every hour, by all means, ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to speed up the construction progress of the booths.
Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities must be responsible for the implementation of booths in their localities; units that do not meet progress requirements need to have an immediate alternative plan, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City to plan to ensure security and order during the fair; the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to organize fundraising activities to support people affected by recent storms and floods; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to complete detailed scripts for the opening and closing ceremonies of the fair and report to the Prime Minister.
He also assigned the Ministry of Finance to notify the level of funding support for ministries, branches and localities participating in the fair on October 20. At the same time, monitor and synthesize the funding support needs of ministries, branches and localities during the fair, ensuring compliance with the law.
The Ministry of Science and Technology continues to review and urge science, technology and innovation enterprises to participate and construct booths at the fair according to the general schedule.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Public Security to invite international delegations to Vietnam to attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime and visit the fair (if possible).
Regarding Hanoi, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the city to focus all its efforts on constructing booths and creating highlights for the fair. From tomorrow (October 20), it is necessary to promote the fair's identity and logo on central routes and areas leading to the fair.
The Deputy Prime Minister once again emphasized the requirement that goods displayed and sold at the fair must be typical and of the highest quality.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to proactively provide information to press agencies to inform and promote the fair. In addition to official press channels, information about the fair must also be spread along the central city route, the route leading to VEC through banners, slogans, banners, logos, etc.
“We can start doing it tomorrow so that a large number of people and tourists can recognize the fair, thereby spreading it, creating an effect, and attracting a large number of visitors,” the Deputy Prime Minister directed.
