An Asian tourism event is about to take place in Ho Chi Minh City

On the afternoon of August 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism held a press conference to announce the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC 2024).

The fair will take place for 3 days from September 5 to 7 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The theme of this year's fair is "Sustainable tourism, creating the future" which defines the strategic vision of the Vietnamese tourism industry and Ho Chi Minh City tourism in particular, which is to develop sustainable tourism, not only based on economic benefits but also in harmony with cultural, social and environmental values.

Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, said this is an annual international fair of Ho Chi Minh City and is striving to become one of the most influential tourism fairs in the Asia region.

"We are striving to elevate ITE HCMC 2024 to a regional level to be able to gather the participation and connection of all influential domestic and international partners towards building this goal," said Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa.

A performance at ITE HCMC 2023

Statistics up to now, there are a total of more than 450 exhibitors and 200 international buyers from 33 countries and territories confirmed to participate in the fair.

Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Fair is the only international travel event in Vietnam with an international buyer program.

Accordingly, more than 200 international buyers who are international tourism businesses will come to the fair to search for and negotiate tourism products and services, contributing to expanding the market, creating business opportunities and actively contributing to economic development.
