According to the data announced for the 2025 high school graduation exam scores from the Ministry of Education and Training , there is a candidate with registration number 0101xxx, from Hanoi, who is the valedictorian in both groups A01 (math, physics, English) and D01 (math, literature, English).

Specifically, this candidate scored 10 in math, 9.25 in literature, 9.75 in foreign language and 10 in physics.

This candidate's score in group A01 is 29.95 and his score in group D01 is 29 points.

The candidates' scores are higher than the scores of the top students of these two groups in 2024.

In 2024, the valedictorian of group A01 of the high school graduation exam was Nguyen Hao Thien, a 12th grade student of Le Thanh Tong Primary - Secondary - High School, Ho Chi Minh City with a score of 29.6 (9.8 points in math, 10 points in physics and 9.8 points in English).

And the D01 block is Nguyen Phuong Linh, a student at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, Vinh Phuc province, with a total score of 28.75 (English 10, math 9 and literature 9.75).

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the scores, if candidates are not satisfied with the exam results, they have the right to submit a request for review. Candidates have 10 days to submit the request, from July 16 to July 25. The review will be completed before August 3.

From 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will officially eliminate early admission in university admissions and all must follow the common admission process on the ministry's system.

From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes (unlimited number of times) on the Ministry of Education and Training's general registration system.

Thus, the registration period lasts nearly half a month, right after the announcement of the 2025 high school graduation exam results. During this period, candidates can register, correct errors, and change their wishes without limit.

From July 10 to 20, the Departments of Education and Training will provide additional accounts for candidates (high school and college graduates) who do not have an account to register for admission on the system to carry out online registration.
