In a conversation with the media, coach Jose Mourinho admitted that there was a time when he feared his record with Inter Milan would be equaled by Simone Inzaghi.
It was the treble the Portuguese tactician won with Inter in 2010 that opened the door for him to move to Real Madrid.

A few weeks ago, Inter were on course for a treble, reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League and Coppa Italia, as well as leading Serie A.
Mourinho is someone who does not hide his emotions, so he admitted that he does not want Inzaghi's Inter to succeed.
With the effort to eliminate Barcelona after 2 legs of the Champions League semi-final with a total of 13 goals, Inter ran out of steam on other fronts.
Nerazzurri lost unfortunate points in Serie A, bitterly watching Napoli win the Scudetto in the final round . In Coppa Italia, they were eliminated by Milan.
Now, Inter's only goal is to win the Champions League . They do not want to be like Bayer Leverkusen in 2002, from the dream of winning the treble to empty-handed.
“I was a bit cruel, but very honest. I was really worried that Inter could win the treble,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“I don't want to see that happen,” he laughed uneasily. “The treble is mine.”
Now, Mourinho cheers for his old team in the Champions League final in Munich against PSG (2am June 1).
“So far, when Inter have lost both Serie A and the Coppa Italia, I have to say that I would love to see them win the Champions League.”
At the same time, he continued: “It must be said that Luis Enrique is doing a great job at PSG. He has completely changed the team.
It can be said that PSG lost their number 1 player, but they rebuilt in an extraordinary way. So if Luis wins, I will be happy for him too."
