Mourinho has been a regular critic of the Turkish league since taking charge of Fenerbahce.

The result left Fenerbahce eight points behind leaders Galatasaray with only four games left in the season. The Portuguese coach said the Super Lig title was almost "pre-determined", with a series of unfavorable factors for Fenerbahce.

Speaking after the match, Mourinho said: "The reality is that the outcome of this tournament was predetermined. The matches we lost at home, along with the decisions from VAR and the referee, were decisive. I'm tired of having to repeat this. I have no power and can't change anything. But that's the truth."

Mourinho has repeatedly criticised refereeing this season, forcing the Turkish Football Federation to send a Slovenian referee to officiate the Fenerbahce-Galatasaray Clasico in February. However, another controversy erupted after that match when Galatasaray accused Mourinho of making racist remarks towards members of their coaching staff.

In that context, rumors about Mourinho's future also arose, as he was said to be leaving Türkiye before his contract expired. Asked about his plans for next season, Mourinho answered briefly: "I will not say anything about next season. If there is anything to say, I will discuss it internally with the president and the board of directors, not publicly."

Fenerbahce have four games left, starting with a clash with Istanbul Basaksehir on May 10.
