MU agrees to let Rashford go to Barca

Notably, MU's board of directors approved this idea. Although the deal has not been officially completed, negotiations between the parties are said to have entered the final stage.

Coach Hansi Flick spoke directly with the 27-year-old striker and fully supported the deal. Recruiting Rashford on loan is also a smart solution for Barca, helping them add a quality attacking star without having to pay a huge transfer fee immediately in a still difficult financial context.

Barcelona want to add a versatile attacker who can operate wide and centrally, making Rashford an attractive target. The left winger position is a top priority after the team felt short of personnel in that area towards the end of last season.
