Mason Mount has decided to leave Chelsea after refusing to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

And the England midfielder is said to have chosen MU as his next destination. The Telegraph reported that Erik ten Hag's team's ticket to the Champions League had a decisive influence on Mason Mount's choice, so he rejected Liverpool.

The remaining issue of Mason Mount's deal to join the Red Devils is the fee. While Chelsea insists on asking for 80 million Euros, because they want to find a way to keep him, MU only intends to spend no more than 60 million Euros.

However, coach Erik ten Hag called Mason Mount to assure him that MU will try to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. After the first offer of 40 million pounds (47 million Euros) was rejected by The Blues, the Red Devils are preparing to make a second, higher offer.

It is believed that MU will increase their pursuit of Moussa Dibaly if they decide to sell Jadon Sancho, a star who has failed to prove his worth after arriving from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
