Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the Military Medical Academy; commanders of agencies and units and nearly 1,900 officers, lecturers, staff, students, soldiers and workers at the central bridge point and 6 bridge points at agencies and units under the Academy.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the movement, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Doctor Nghiem Duc Thuan, Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of the Military Medical Academy, said that for the Army, digital transformation is a command of the times, a "compass", an inevitable trend, a strategic lever to enhance the overall strength, combat readiness, and the ability to protect the Fatherland in the context of increasingly complex and unpredictable security challenges.

In response to the requirements of the new situation, the General Department of Politics issued Instruction No. 2250/HD-CT on organizing the emulation movements "Emulation of the Army in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital popular education" to strongly arouse the aspiration to develop the country, build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army; promote the initiative and creativity of the organization, forces, officers and soldiers.
In the spirit of the whole Party, the whole people and the whole army to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Academy launched the emulation movement "Military Medical Academy competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education for the masses" to deploy for cadres, employees, students, soldiers and workers to participate with the highest sense of responsibility and efficiency. Thereby, contributing to building a regular, elite and modern revolutionary army and bringing the country to develop strongly in the new era - the era of prosperity and power.
The competition will focus on a number of areas such as: Improving the quality of education and propaganda work, creating a strong change in awareness, responsibility, determination to innovate and digital transformation; arousing the desire to contribute, develop, mature, and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do for cadres, employees, students, soldiers and workers throughout the Academy.

Promote innovation in leadership, management and command methods from traditional to digital space based on digital data; promote the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially cadres at all levels in practicing innovation and digital transformation; strengthen training and coaching to improve knowledge and skills in digital technology and digital transformation throughout the Academy.
Extensively deploy the "Digital Education for All" Movement in agencies, departments, and units according to the motto "no one is left behind", "Those who know should teach those who don't know, those who know a lot should teach those who know little about digital transformation"; organize specialized activities on digital transformation; research and build clubs and models of innovative activities; practically and effectively deploy the models of "digital units" and "digital soldiers".
At the same time, invest in ensuring synchronous digital infrastructure and information technology equipment systems in agencies and units, creating a solid foundation for digital transformation; actively apply new mobile technologies 5G, 6G and next generations to meet digital transformation requirements in each stage...

Regarding the movement's goal, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan added: By 2025, we strive to have more than 80% of cadres, employees, students, soldiers, and workers with an understanding of digital transformation, digital knowledge and skills, and be able to use digital platforms and services for work; 100% of students are equipped with digital knowledge and skills to serve their studies, research, and creativity, and are proficient in social interactions in the digital environment.
By 2026, 100% of cadres, employees, students, soldiers, and workers will have digital transformation understanding, digital knowledge and skills, and be able to use digital platforms and services for work; be able to use smart devices to exploit information, and use essential platforms and services. From 2027 to 2030, 100% of cadres, employees, students, soldiers, and workers will be masters of digital transformation.
Representing the cadres, employees, students, soldiers and workers in the Academy in the emulation covenant, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dang Tien Truong, Head of Training Department (Military Medical Academy) affirmed: All cadres, employees, students, soldiers and workers in the Academy will thoroughly grasp and deeply understand the theme, content and targets of the emulation movement "Military Medical Academy competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education for the masses"; educate and build for cadres, party members and the masses to have a steadfast political stance, the right motivation to compete, ready to receive and complete well the assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the breakthrough task of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the Academy.

Continue to raise awareness and innovate thinking, focusing on developing science and technology, promoting innovation and transforming management models from traditional to digital data-based; organize activities to apply science, technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and educational management; at the same time, encourage cadres, employees, students, trainees, soldiers and workers to proactively learn and explore digital knowledge and skills necessary for work and study; change thinking and working methods, be ready to give up old habits, apply digital tools and processes to daily work, thereby improving productivity and quality of personal work...
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Military Medical Academy organized a training course on “Digital Transformation” and “Digital Education for All”, with the following topics: Some basic contents on implementing the “Digital Education for All” movement for all people; the meaning and importance of the Movement in the development of a digital nation, digital government, digital economy, digital society, rapid, comprehensive and sustainable development. Application and development of artificial intelligence (AI).
