According to Chairman of Quang Tin Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Sang, on the evening of August 20, a heavy rain accompanied by whirlwinds and lightning occurred in the area, causing roofs to be blown off and damage to at least 13 houses, and a 110kV power pole (Dak Sin 2 village) and a welcome gate (Dak Sin 3 village) to collapse.
