The project has a scale of renovating a 199m long, 6m wide ditch with a total ditch surface area of ​​over 1,194m2. Construction items include dismantling railings and existing structures, constructing monolithic reinforced concrete beams and floors, arranging 5 dredging points with concrete panels for convenient inspection and maintenance, along with installing trash screens at the ditch head. The total investment of the project is over 2.3 billion VND from the targeted support budget of the province and the development investment capital of the ward in 2025.

The project aims to overcome the local flooding that often occurs during heavy rains in the area, while also treating environmental pollution, ensuring traffic safety and improving living conditions for the community. The project also contributes to effectively implementing the policies of the province and ward on infrastructure investment, gradually perfecting the urban appearance of Ha Lam ward towards civilization, cleanliness and sustainability.

When completed, the canal will help improve drainage capacity, reduce the risk of flooding, minimize waste accumulation and ensure safety in the area.
