My Thoi implements cashless payment.

On the afternoon of September 25th, the People's Committee of My Thoi Ward (An Giang Province) held a conference to implement cashless payment in the commercial sector, aiming to develop digital technology for residents in the ward by the end of 2025.

According to the plan, the People's Committee of My Thoi ward has selected 50% of the hamlets in the ward to implement cashless payments in the commercial sector, including the hamlets of: An Hung, Trung Hung, Trung An, An Thoi, Thanh An, Dong Thanh, Dong Thanh B, Thoi An, Thoi Hoa, and Hoa Thanh.

Simultaneously, at Cai Sao Market and Cai San Market, the fee for using sales space will be implemented between traders and the business unit operating and managing the market, and between traders and customers.

To implement the cashless payment model, the People's Committee of the ward, in coordination with Agribank An Giang, VNPT An Giang, and other relevant units, organized propaganda and guidance for people to install software, open free accounts, and operate cashless payment methods when purchasing goods, such as: payment via QR Code, popular e-wallets, payment via POS machines of banks; online banking accounts and specialized payment software...
