Government figures show that trade between China and the above partners accounts for about one-third of the country's total trade turnover.
China achieved new breakthroughs in both FTA negotiations and signing last year, the MOC said.
In 2023, China signed FTAs with Ecuador, Nicaragua and Serbia as well as signed a protocol to upgrade the FTA with Singapore and made significant progress in initial negotiations on an FTA with Honduras.
According to the MOC, China will continue to develop a high-standard free trade network and expand the application of duty-free policies on exchanged goods this year.
The MOC is expected to incorporate high-standard economic and trade regulations in digital economy management, green economy, standards and certification, as well as public procurement into the negotiation of new FTAs.
