According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee assigned 3,096 civil servant positions in 2025 to each administrative agency and organization (government sector) of the province (1,393 positions at the provincial level, 1,703 positions at the district level), a reduction of 30 positions compared to 2024.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is the unit assigned the largest number of positions with 439; the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office is the unit assigned the least number of positions with 3 positions.
For the district-level People's Committees, the People's Committee of Que Son district (new) is the locality assigned the largest number of positions (146 positions); followed by Dien Ban: 114, Tam Ky: 113, Hoi An: 112 positions. The People's Committee of Phu Ninh district is assigned the least with 88 positions.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned 27,661 positions of civil servants receiving salaries from the state budget (a reduction of 37 positions compared to 2024) to public service units and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State in the province.
Of which, there are 23,650 positions foreducation and training; 2,523 positions for health; 1,488 positions for culture, information and other positions. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned to supplement 293 positions for public preschool and general education.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned 2,309 positions of civil servants receiving salaries from career revenue sources in public career units that partially self-insure regular expenses in 2025; of which 2,135 positions have regulations on staffing norms in the health and archives sectors; 174 positions do not have instructions from ministries and branches on staffing norms.
