On July 12, the Mirror reported that singer and TV star Jake Quickenden was hospitalized after a serious accident while participating in the Yukon 1000 adventure boat race.
On his personal page, Jake shared that he had experienced a “nightmare” when he continuously encountered problems on the journey, forcing him and his teammates to give up halfway. In the attached photo, Jake appeared with his left arm in a cast.
“Everything started out so well, we were so excited. But then the boat broke down, got caught in a storm, and then we thought everything was fine, then the accident happened. I’m waiting for an X-ray to check it out,” Jake said.

After the near-fatal incident, many fans sent their best wishes and hoped he would return to work soon.
Jake Quickenden, born in 1988, is a British singer and is currently famous for his reality TV shows. He participated in The X Factor in 2012 and 2014, and was also the runner-up of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2014.

In addition to his artistic career, Jake is also known as an exemplary husband and father. He married Sophie Church in 2022 and currently has 2 sons: Leo (born 2021) and Kit (born January 2025).
