On June 17, Mr. Dinh Van Cuong, Deputy Director in charge of Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board ( Quang Nam ) said that, in addition to continuing to direct Forest Management and Protection Stations (FPS) to regularly monitor the area, grasp the situation at the grassroots level, and effectively implement the directives of leaders at all levels and sectors in the work of FPS and forest fire prevention and fighting (PF), the Board also strengthens coordination with the People's Committees of communes and towns, Forest Rangers working in the area, and related forces to promote propaganda and mobilize people to raise awareness and responsibility for FPS and FPS; proactively develop plans to implement tasks at the grassroots level in accordance with the situation in the assigned management area.
Propaganda work is organized by Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board in many diverse and vivid forms, helping people easily absorb, update and improve their knowledge about forest protection and management.
According to statistics, from the beginning of 2025 to present, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board has organized 49 mobile propaganda sessions/28 villages using loudspeakers along residential roads in villages and communes in the district; 32 village meetings have been held with nearly 1,500 people attending the meetings.
In addition, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board also organized the signing of commitments to protect forests and prevent forest fires for about 1,500 households; propagated by public loudspeakers (commune radio stations) nearly 20 times; inspected and cleared previously posted forest protection and forest fire prevention and control billboards along residential roads in the district; and installed 120 new billboards.
Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board continues to synchronously implement solutions for propaganda, forest protection patrol, forest fire prevention and control, minimizing impacts on forests, and resolving legal rights for people.
