The male student who carried his friend to school for 10 years is now carrying him to receive his university diploma with honors.

TPO - Ngo Van Hieu was very moved when he carried his close friend Nguyen Tat Minh to receive his graduation certificate from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, as he had done for 10 years during high school in Thanh Hoa.

Despite his busy schedule of studying and practicing at the hospital, Hieu still took the time to catch the noon bus to arrive on time for his friend's graduation ceremony.

During the solemn graduation ceremony of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the whole hall could not hide their emotions when Ngo Van Hieu - a 5th year student of Medicine, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy appeared to carry Nguyen Tat Minh - a student with excellent graduation, Computer Science, Hanoi University of Science and Technology to the stage to receive his diploma.

Hieu shared that when he received a phone call from Minh inviting him to attend the graduation ceremony, he was extremely moved. Looking at his best friend wearing his bachelor's gown, Hieu was moved and shared that he was very happy and proud to see Minh graduate from Hanoi University of Science and Technology with honors.

Hieu is happy because after 5 years of studying at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Minh has overcome many difficulties and made efforts to fulfill his dream of graduating from a major university.

“Today you received your diploma, but I feel it is as important as receiving my own diploma. Seeing your journey, I was so touched. Today, once again, I was able to carry you to receive your diploma, I am extremely happy and proud” - Hieu shared.

Hieu also confided that 5 years ago, we promised each other that even though we didn't live close by, we would still try to study hard, so that on the day you graduated, I would come and carry you to receive your diploma. And today, that promise has been fulfilled.

During his graduation ceremony, Minh shared that this graduation ceremony is very special to him, it marks an important milestone in his next journey. Minh would like to thank his special friend Ngo Van Hieu. Hieu is a part of his journey to his dream of becoming a student and now holding his diploma in his hand.

Minh's father has also accompanied him throughout his four years of university. During the past four years, his father also quit his job in the countryside to come to Hanoi to take care of his son. At first, Minh's father applied for a job pumping water for the school dormitory. Later, he became a security guard at a coffee shop near the dormitory to earn extra income and take care of his son.

Many other parents whose children graduated from the University of Science and Technology also gave Minh flowers.

And on Minh's graduation day, not only his father and close friend Hieu, but also many parents whose children graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology came to give him flowers to congratulate him.

After 4 years of university, graduating with honors, the thing that makes Minh regret the most is not being able to participate in the activities of the school's union, team or club due to travel restrictions. But in return, Minh also has more time to study and improve his expertise.

Minh shared that information technology is updated quickly and changes every day. He believes that he must continuously improve himself to keep up with new technologies. Minh also plans to learn more about AI to increase his future career opportunities.

After graduating, Minh returned to his hometown and hoped to find a job in his field in Thanh Hoa .

Sharing about Minh's decision to return to his hometown to start a career, Hieu fully supports and considers it a reasonable decision. "Minh has difficulty traveling so he needs his father's support. If Minh returns to his hometown to work, life with his family will be much better for him" - shared.

Nguyen Tat Minh, from Thanh Hoa, was born with a crippled leg and arm that shrank as he grew older. During his 10 years in high school, Minh was carried to school by Hieu.

In 2020, Minh was admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 28.1 points in the A00 combination (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and 0.5 priority points. Ngo Van Hieu was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
