On the morning of January 31, at Tam Thanh Border Guard Station (Quan Son), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Border Guard Command (BĐBP) held a signing ceremony of a coordination program on "Promoting and improving the effectiveness of cultural, sports, tourism and family activities on the two border lines of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2023 - 2025"; visiting and giving gifts to Border Guard stations and local people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.
Representatives of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the provincial Border Guard Command signed the coordination program.
Attending the signing ceremony of the cooperation program were comrades: Pham Nguyen Hong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command; comrades Deputy Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Quan Son district.
The joint program on "Promoting and improving the effectiveness of cultural, sports, tourism and family activities on the two border lines of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2023 - 2025" aims to continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on promoting and improving the effectiveness of cultural, sports, tourism and family activities on the two border lines of the province.
Maximize the existing resources and potentials of both sides to organize and promote cultural, sports, tourism and family activities on the two borders to gradually consolidate and improve cultural and spiritual life, raise the intellectual level of the people, effectively build a healthy cultural environment, develop the economy, culture and society on the two borders of the province. Raise awareness among officials and people in border areas about sovereignty, territory, and policies on building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative border for mutual development.

Accordingly, in the cultural field, information and propaganda activities will be carried out to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of people in implementing policies and laws on ethnic affairs, culture, sports, tourism and family. Coordinate the organization of festivals, festivals, competitions, cultural, artistic, sports, tourism performances, propaganda, and mobile services; periodically organize quarterly cultural and artistic performances to serve cadres and people in remote areas, ethnic minority areas; organize cultural and artistic activities, encourage learning for people in border areas; coordinate the organization of film screenings to promote and serve political tasks for people in remote areas, extremely difficult areas, border and island areas, etc.
In the field of sports, organize mass physical education and sports activities for ethnic minorities and officers and soldiers of Border Guard units on the two border lines. Research, collect, maintain and develop ethnic sports and folk games of ethnic minorities to preserve the traditions and cultural identity of the nation; build and develop cultural and sports clubs suitable to the actual situation and conditions in the localities.
In the tourism sector, promote the dissemination and propaganda of tourism laws to contribute to raising legal awareness in tourism activities in general and tourism activities related to border areas. In the family sector, coordinate the development of a number of models of cultural, sports, tourism and family activities in ethnic minority areas; cultural families; cultural villages and hamlets; deploy a set of criteria for family conduct in ethnic minority areas and a number of other activities.
The delegation presented gifts to Tam Thanh Border Guard Station and the people of Trung Tien commune (Quan Son).
