Conference to review the work of the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 3 months of 2025 of the Department of Construction

In the first 9 months of the year, the Department focused on directing and comprehensively operating all management areas of the industry and achieved positive results; notably: (1) Completing the detailed planning for the development of land and seaport areas of Thanh Hoa in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; (2) coordinating with the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the project to merge 02 departments and issue Decision No. 84/2025/QD-UBND dated July 8, 2025 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Construction of Thanh Hoa province on the basis of merging the Department of Construction (old) and the Department of Transport (old); (3) Promptly answering difficulties and problems of communes and wards after the organization and implementation of the 02-level government apparatus came into operation; (4) Completed consulting and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of large-scale projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); (5) Resolutely directed units to concentrate all resources, organize the implementation of prevention, response, and overcoming of consequences of natural disasters, ensuring flexibility, timeliness, and effectiveness; (6) Coordinated with relevant units to complete the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households in poor districts of Thanh Hoa province under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025 and the Housing Support Project for people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, etc. The above results of the Industry have made an important contribution to the socio -economic development of the province.

In the last 3 months of the year, continuing to promote the achieved results, the whole industry is determined to improve the quality of consulting, operational efficiency and effectiveness of State management in all assigned management areas, focusing on the following key tasks: Promote administrative reform, improve the quality of public services, quality of service to enterprises ; develop a plan to improve the district and departmental competitiveness index (DDCI) as assessed by enterprises annually, regularly meet, exchange, listen, promptly resolve difficulties and problems for enterprises regarding the contents within the field and responsibility of the Department; urgently advise, organize and resolutely and effectively implement the general planning work, urban planning of communes and wards, report to the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to ensure progress and prescribed time ; promote the progress and disbursement of key projects; modernize the technical infrastructure and traffic system; Synchronously develop the housing, real estate, and urban markets; promote digital transformation and tighten administrative discipline.

At the conference, the Director of the Department of Construction requested all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the entire industry to strive to compete in a 90-day sprint to the finish line to excellently complete the tasks and plans for 2025.
