(BLC) - In recent times, Sin Ho District Youth Union has implemented many measures, focusing on propaganda, dissemination andeducation to help young people raise their legal awareness, contributing to building a civilized and modern society.
Sin Ho is a mountainous district with many difficulties, a part of the people still maintain many bad customs, taking advantage of limited awareness, criminals often take advantage to attract and entice. Besides, some young people do not have jobs, are lazy to work, like to enjoy, have limited knowledge, leading to breaking the law, going into prison.
In order for union members and youth in the district to understand the law and contribute their efforts to building and protecting the Fatherland, the District Union coordinates with the district's departments and branches to carry out propaganda campaigns, popularize legal education to the young generation in each village and commune. Mobilize union members not to listen to bad people, fight and refute wrong and hostile arguments, and deeply understand the laws and legal documents prescribed by the State.
Ms. Lo Thi Yen - Secretary of the District Youth Union said: Not only do we go to each village and each household to gather young people to propagate, but we also go to the workplace to propagate to the younger generation. Every time we go to a grassroots to propagate the law, we have pictures and films showing cases of law violations that the State has handled so that young people can be more aware. In addition, we propagate through banners, slogans, loudspeakers, and social networks.
Officials of Phang So Lin Commune Youth Union (Sin Ho district) propagate the law to youth union members in the commune.
Awareness of the law has been raised, nearly 21,000 Youth Union members of the district have promoted the spirit of living and working according to the Constitution and the law, actively changing their lives, getting rich through legitimate means, many young people have become shining examples of their villages. Youth Union members of communes and villages have promoted the movement of the whole people to protect national security, actively denounced crimes, coordinated with functional forces to patrol and control, boldly participated in security teams, reconciliation teams of the village, and resolved cases in accordance with local laws and regulations.
During holidays, festivals, and summer vacations, there is little use of alcohol or beer while participating in traffic or causing disorder. Especially in the Pa Tan border commune, the Youth Union also coordinates with the Pa Tan Border Guard Station to patrol the border and border markers, promptly reporting illegal border crossings, and taking advantage of religion and beliefs to entice and incite.
Mr. Trieu A Long - Secretary of the Youth Union of Phang So Lin commune said: Being a hot spot for drugs and complicated security, many young people cannot control themselves and fall into the path of drug addiction, drug trafficking, and theft. When the District Youth Union and all levels and sectors propagandize and mobilize, the youth of the commune change their awareness, many addicts proactively go to drug rehabilitation, cooperate with the commune police to prevent and fight crime, and do not violate the regulations set forth by the law. As a leader of the Youth Union, I always set an example for the Youth Union members in the village to follow.
