Attending and giving a directive speech, Comrade Le Quoc Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by Hiep Binh ward after one year of operating the two-tiered local government model.
Comrade Le Quoc Phong requested that, in the coming period, Hiep Binh ward continue to improve the quality of Party building work, focusing on developing Party members and building a team of cadres that meets the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
At the same time, the ward pays attention to effectively implementing social welfare work, taking care of people's lives, and building a united, civilized, and compassionate residential area.
The ward also needs to continue promoting the effectiveness of the two-tiered local government model in a streamlined, modern, and efficient manner, using people's satisfaction as a measure of service quality.
At the conference, delegates also focused on discussing and analyzing the results achieved after one year of operating the two-tiered local government model in Hiep Binh ward; while frankly acknowledging the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of implementing tasks at the grassroots level.
Many opinions have been put forward suggesting solutions to further improve the efficiency of the government apparatus, the quality of Party building work, administrative reform, public mobilization work, and strengthen coordination among agencies and units in the coming period.
