On August 15, Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy, Director of Chu Mom Ray National Park ( Quang Ngai province), said that through camera trap technology (automatic cameras installed in the forest), the unit has recorded many rare pheasant species.
Accordingly, the chicken species recorded by camera trap technology include jungle fowl (common species), purple pheasant (group IIB); red pheasant; white-throated partridge, yellow partridge, striped pheasant, and hump-breasted partridge (group IB).

In addition to the camera traps, the forest rangers also discovered pheasants during their patrols. When they discovered the rangers, the pheasants hid in the dense forests.

According to Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy, the location where the rare chicken species were discovered is in a deep forest area, strictly protected. The images of the pheasants recorded have been collected by the garden to serve the purpose of zoning and conservation.
