At about 2:30 p.m. on December 12, while Pham Thi Ngoc Huyen, registered at No. 3, An Duong Vuong Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi City, a member of the organization "Church of God the Mother", was organizing propaganda, mobilizing, enticing, and luring members of a family in Group 12, Yen Ninh Ward, Yen Bai City to join the "Church of God the Mother", she was discovered and promptly stopped by the Yen Bai City Police. At the same time, many books, documents, and laptops containing propaganda content about the "Church of God the Mother" were seized.

Here, the subject confessed to using documents, videos and images that he had collected and compiled himself to propagate and entice a number of people in Yen Bai city to join the organization "Church of God the Mother".

“At first, there was nothing, but later on, it gradually increased. They brought up the current social problems and said it was caused by Satan. They always lured us very sweetly to do bad things. Now, if we want to avoid bad things, we have to believe in God. That is how they lead us,” said Mr. Nguyen Hong Chuyen, a resident of Yen Ninh Ward, Yen Bai City.

According to information provided by the Yen Bai City Police Security Force, through review and verification, up to now, in Yen Bai City, there are no core members of the organization "Church of God the Mother" operating and residing, however, there are still members of this organization secretly operating, trying to entice and entice people to join the organization "Church of God the Mother".

“The content we shared, for example, about Noah’s Ark, the universe, the earth, that is, believing in God as creator… is for people to believe. In the first six months of 2023, the police force nationwide discovered and handled 12 cases and 85 subjects operating and living according to the "Church of God", causing insecurity and disorder. Most of these subjects were lured and bribed by key members of the "Church of God the Mother" organization to conduct propaganda and attract people to join the organization.

“The most dangerous thing is destroying the traditional customs of the Vietnamese people. The second thing is that it causes stagnation in the economic development of each family, because they are always engrossed in meetings and collecting donations. These donations are not to help the poor and those in difficult situations, but to donate to their morality of God the Mother. If you look at it, you have to spend 10% of your income every month, not to mention other donations.” - Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, in group 12, Yen Ninh Ward, Yen Bai City, who witnessed people coming to propagate the organization "Church of God the Mother", shared.

Through a number of cases we have investigated, it shows that these subjects also take advantage of propaganda about the organization "Church of God the Mother" to commit many illegal acts such as fraud and property appropriation. Therefore, people need to be extremely vigilant, not believe, not listen and promptly report to local authorities and police forces when discovering the activities of these subjects, for timely handling".

Vietnam always respects freedom of belief and religion and creates favorable conditions for licensed religious organizations to operate in accordance with the law. However, it is also determined to fight against acts that use religion as cover to affect social order and go against traditional customs. Therefore, every citizen needs to be alert to the propaganda of the organization "Church of God the Mother", not to be lured or enticed into carrying out activities that disrupt security and order.
