Social Insurance industry competes to ensure social security

In recent times, emulation movements in the social insurance sector have been vigorously implemented, making an important contribution to ensuring social security in the region. Emulation movements responding to the Government 's launches during this period typically include the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" to increase the rate of people participating in social insurance policies; "For the poor - leaving no one behind" launched to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to the poor and people in especially difficult circumstances; "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture", performing well the assigned tasks; "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning in the period of 2023 - 2030", "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025", "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift and fighting waste"...

The Social Insurance sector also launched emulation movements such as: emulation in collecting and developing participants in social insurance, health insurance (HI), unemployment insurance (UI); implementing well the policies on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; administrative reform and application of information technology, promoting digital transformation... to create maximum convenience for people and businesses when carrying out transactions and procedures related to social insurance policies.

The results of the emulation movements have contributed to ensuring social security in the two provinces of Quang Nam and Da Nang. By the end of 2024, the rate of population participating in health insurance in Quang Nam province reached 96.23%, and Da Nang city reached 90.45%.

Through emulation movements, hundreds of grassroots initiatives have been applied in the practical operations of the regional social insurance sector, contributing to bringing social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies to a large number of workers and people. The regional social insurance sector has focused on giving priority to rewarding individuals who are direct workers with many creative and effective solutions in performing their tasks, actively participating in emulation movements, and exceeding assigned targets and tasks.

At the conference summarizing emulation work, Social Insurance Region XXII elected a list of 4 delegates to attend the Conference of advanced models of Vietnam Social Insurance and the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Finance sector.
